Meet the Team

Innerspace has a small team of employees that are passionate for the outdoors. Their thrill of adventure and drive to learn more about the sports they love is what makes the team so knowledgeable in the products and services offered at the shop.

Chad Edwards

Chad has been a part of Innerspace since 1995. He started as an employee and quickly worked his way up to own the business. With the help of the Community Futures Young Entrepreneur Program Chad was able to purchase the business in 2003 and has worked hard to grow it into one of the top recreation shops in the Okanagan. With two store locations and a private pool facility for teaching scuba lessons he has turned his passions into a lifestyle business.

Certifications: With over 5000 logged dives Chad has taken his diving the highest professional level. He has his commercial tickets, instructor certifications and has certified over 1000 students. Apart from diving he has been certified as a boating instructor, kayak instructor and paddle board instructor. He has been a motorbike fanatic since the age of 4 which lead Chad to become a pioneer in the snow bike industry in 2010. He has logged over 1000 hours on the snow bikes and has worked to make Innerspace one of the leading dealers in North America.

Curt Bisbing

General Manager

Curt started his dive career in 1999 when he completed his open water dive certification through the shop. In 2002 Chad and Curt became roommates which lead Curt to his role with the company. He started working for the store in 2003 to take a break from the hectic kitchen life (as he is a red seal chef by trade). What was meant to be a summer job turned into a 14 year career change. Curt’s passion for the outdoors and recreation lifestyle has kept him busy teaching scuba, servicing gear and managing inventory.

Certifications: With over 2500 logged dives Curt is now certified to a professional level. He has certified over 500 students. Apart from that he holds his Red Cross Standard First Aid Instructor, PADI EFR Instructor, Boating Instructor and Red Seal Chef Certificate.

When he is not at the shop Curt is an avid outdoors man. He enjoys hunting and fishing and sharing his passion for the outdoors with his family. Curt is happily married and has two young kids, 3 years old & 7 months.
